ABC Introduces New Tool For Corporate Travel Agents

The marketplace continues to see travel technology firms launch new products to tap the potentially lucrative corporate-travel sector.

ABC Corporate Services unveiled its new booking tool, "ABC GlobalFares," to customers at its recent Annual Global Connect Meeting last month.  ABC GlobalFares provides online access to the ABC's inventory of international private fares, booking capability, and commissionable fares with foreign point-of-sale fare availability. 

Powered by eGlobalfares, the product also offers a help desk to support the processing of more complex itineraries. GlobalFares also features full integration with users’ front-, mid- and back-office systems – to help agencies meet quality control, accounting and reporting needs, the company claimed in a statement.

GlobalFares "gives agencies the ability to view and manage all itineraries booked,” explained David Rifkin, eGlobalfares president and CEO. The tool is aimed at accelerating the process of fare checking and booking international travel, added ABC Corporate Services president and COO Beverlee S. Patterson.
