RESX Connects With Corporate-Travel Companies

TMCs are gravitating to new remedies for their corporate clients' compliance- and budget-related headaches.

Over the last few months, 17 travel agencies have signed distributor agreements to use RESX Technologies' online corporate travel booking tool, which helps users make reservations that comply with travel policies and budgets.

New options: The tool provides a number of features, such as Trip Sync functionality, partner integrations, and preferred airlines by market, according to RESX president Shane Hammond.

The news follows closely on the heels of the announcement that RESX parent company TRX secured an agreement with Orbitz Worldwide to manage the full volume of Orbitz for Business' reservation processing with TRX's CORREX product. As a result, Orbitz for Business gains the ability to globalize transaction processing and ensure global data integrity for reporting and analysis, according to a TRX statement.
